Statement regarding incident

The Gozo Football Association regretfully notes the incident where Gozitan referee Joseph Agius was physically attacked by a player during a Gozo Football League 2nd Division match that took place on the 23rd February 2019. This incident is being categorically deplored and the GFA reiterates that violence has no place in football. GFA expresses solidarity with Joseph Aguis and will be looking further into this incident.
