Nadur Youngsters obtained three pints form a 4-1 win in their match against Ghajnsielem and with this result the Youngsters made sure of the runners-up position on the table.  Nadur held territorial supremacy during this match and obtained the victory with two goals scored in each half.  The Blacks tried to remain in contention in an attempt to obtain a positive result but they denied from scoring on different occasions with some fine saves by Nadur’s young goalkeeper Gaetano Bugeja and also compromised their possibility as they play all the second period with a player less on the field of play as they had a player sent off seconds form half time.

Nadur could have scored an early goal but in the sixth minute of play an attempt by Brandon said was stopped by the post.  Two minutes later a lob by Nadur’s Darko Krstic ended on the top of the net but on 19 minutes   Ghajnsielem replied on 22 minutes through an effort by Marco Antonio Morgon Filho that was partially saved by goalie Gaetano Bugeja and from the rebound the effort by Luis Andre De Melo Lima was saved to a corner by the same goalkeeper.  Goalie Gaetano Bugeja was again called to make a good save on 26 minutes to block an attempt by Marco Antonio Morgon Filho and on the half hour mark Nadur could have scored another goal but a first timer by Darko Krstic following a cross by Josef Buttigieg that was stopped by the crossbar.  Nadur however doubled the score six minutes later through Joseph Owen Borg who concluded in goal with a low drive following a solo effort.  Ghajnsielem continued to insist with offensive play and two minutes later Nadur’s keeper once again blocked with ability a fine strike by Marco Antonio Morgon Filho.  In 40 minutes Ghajnsielem’s Luis Andre De Melo Lima had a good shot that was saved to a corner by Nadur’s goalkeeper and in the second minute of stoppage time before half time the Blacks were reduced to ten players when Marco Antonio Morgon Filho was sent off for retaliation on Stanimir Miloskovic.

After the break Nadur continued to enjoy territorial supremacy and on 53 minutes Ghajnsielem’s defender Dylan Mercieca risked to commit an own goal when he hit badly in an attempt to clear a cross from the right flank but the ball bounced on the crossbar and the action ended in a corner.  On 59 minutes Nadur’s Stanimir Miloskovic had a shot that was deflected to a corner and four minutes Ghajnsielem’s keeper Joseph Grech saved with difficulty to a corner a lob by Nemanja Stojanovic.  Nadur’s goalkeeper Gaetano Bugeja left his position in time to clear the ball from the edge of the area before Ghajnsielem’s Alberto Xuereb could hit the ball towards goal.  On 64 minutes Nadur scored their third goal when Ronaldo Da Silva had a shot that was blocked by the defence but the same player took the rebound and from his cross Stanimir Miloskovic headed in goal from close distance.  On 74 minutes Nadur’s goalie Gaetano Bugeja made another good save following a shot by Alberto Xuereb and on 78 minutes Ghajnsielem were again dangerous through a strike by substitute Christian Dingli that was also saved by Nadur’s keeper.  Ghajnsielem scored their consolation goal on 79 minutes through a strike by Ali Oularbi that ended out of the reach of Nadur’s keeper.  Nadur however ended the match with a three goal lead as they scored their fourth goal in the second minute of stoppage time through a lob by Stanimir Miloskovic when the goalkeeper was out of his position.
