Two minutes later Qala’s goalie Malcolm Cefai saved to a corner another effort by Ebube Ralph Okpokwu and on 45 minutes a shot by Sannat’s Fabian Xuereb ended over the crossbar. In the first minute of stoppage time before half time Ebube Ralph Okpokwu had a good shot form an ideal position that just missed the target so that the first half ended with Sannat enjoying a two-goal lead.
