Victoria Hotspurs goalkeeper Adrian Parnis is the BOV GFA Player of the Month for October 2018.
Parnis had an outstanding performance against Xewkija Tigers, where a string of outstanding saves kept a 2-0 negative scoreline. His fine form was also clearly evident in their 3-1 win over Gharb Rangers and a 2-0 win over SK Victoria Wanderers. He also made a great save in the penalty shootout against Siggiewi in the second round of the FA Trophy.
During October, Parnis also captained Team Gozo in their commitments in the UEFA Regions Cup.
This is Parnis’s third consecutive season at Victoria Wanderers. The 28 year old started his career with Munxar Falcons and has played in Gozo top flight football with various teams. He was one of the protagonists in Victoria Hotspurs’ double last season and has won the BOV Gozo 1st Division League with Sannat Lions and Xewkija Tigers.
During October, Parnis also captained Team Gozo in their commitments in the UEFA Regions Cup.
Horace Laudi, Executive, Gozo Region for Bank of Valletta presented the BOV GFA Player of the Month trophy to Parnis who chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
