In the last match from the second round of the BOV Gozo Football League of the second division, Munxar Falcons came from behind and obtained a win with the odd goal from three in their match against St Lawrence Spurs. This was a direct clash between two teams who are aiming to establish a mid-table position as the Spurs could have moved over the same Munxar with a win. With this result, Munxar not only retained their fourth place on the table but increased their lead over the same St Lawrence to four points,
The match was quite balanced as the two sides were determined to obtain the win. However, Munxar capitalised from their strength in attack and clinched the win by scoring a goal in each half that arrived through a brace by Henry Fabian Solis who is currently among the top scorers of the category.

30’ (1-2) Munxar’s Henry Fabian Solis became the hero for his side as he put his side in the lead with a fine effort that ended out of the reach of St Lawrence’s goalie.
