Igor Nedeljkovic: Qala Saints FC
Igor Nedeljkovic, the striker from Serbia of Qala Saints who is thirty-three years old, was awarded as the BOV Gozitan football player of the month for October. This honour was awarded at the Bank of Valletta Victoria Gozo office by Ms Charmaine Borg, BOV Regional Manager for Gozo.
Igor Nedeljkovic started playing in local football from the 2019/2020 season, and during this period he played with Għajnsielem, Nadur and Hamrun Spartans before joining Qala Saints at the beginning of last season. Nedeljkovic is a key player for Qala Saints who in recent seasons have established a role as challengers for the Gozitan football honours.
.From the beginning of this season Igor Nedeljkovic is keeping up with expectations and like other seasons he is among the most prolific attackers in the league. During October Igor Nedeljkov played a part in Qala gaining two more victories in the BOV Gozo Football league of the first division and remaining with maximum points from four games. In the first game, Qala beat Xewkija Tigers with a score of 3-0, where Nedeljkovic scored twice, and in the second he was among the protagonists in the 4-2 victory against Għajnsielem.
Igor Nedeljkovic chose the Arka Foundation to benefit from the Bank of Valletta’s contribution linked to this honour.
