First Division leaders Xewkija Tigers secured qualification to the quarter-finals of the BOV GFA Cup with a convincing 5-0 victory over Second Division side Munxar Falcons.

For this match, Xewkija fielded several players who had not been regular starters in the league, yet they still proved to be clearly superior throughout the encounter, leaving little doubt about the outcome. Munxar tried to offer resistance against their higher-ranked opponents and, although they occasionally threatened the Xewkija defence, they mainly focused on keeping the scoreline respectable as the match progressed.

Xewkija paved the way to victory with two first-half goals and went on to register an emphatic win after adding three more goals in the second half.
