Munxar Falcons earned a 2–1 victory over Oratory Youths in a match from the 13th round of the Second Division league. This result gave Munxar their first win of the season and kept their hopes alive of avoiding a last-place finish.
In this clash between the bottom two sides, both teams were desperate for the points. A win for Oratory would have secured fifth place in the standings, while Munxar needed all three points to close the gap on Oratory and keep a chance of overtaking them if they pick up points in their final two matches of the season.
Munxar controlled large spells of the game and went two goals up before half-time. They looked set to continue dominating after the break but, in the closing stages, Oratory reacted by pulling a goal back and pushing hard for an equaliser. The final minutes were more exciting, with the outcome remaining in doubt until the end.
