We photograph everything related to Football in Gozo, from the preparations to the fans and the match. We have over 35 years of experience in Photography in Gozo and Malta and have photographed all of Gozo FA’s activities this year. In this article, we will show you some of our photographers’ favourite pictures this year.
Anaca Photography has photographed over 200 activities in Gozo such as games and awards, shot over 150,000 photos and exported 87,000 great photographs. Our photographers have spent a total combined time of 4 weeks photographing, capturing, editing, processing and captioning Gozo FA photos.
This photo was captured in a very heated match between Nadur Youngsters and Victoria Hotspurs. Victoria Hotspurs’ Elton De Silva scored a late goal that won the match from Nadur. Anaca Photography’s photographers were clicking away at the match under a lot of plastic since it was raining and captured this great shot, especially, the expression on Christian Mercieca’s face.
This image also is one of their favourites because it tells a story and is a bit ironic. Victoria Hotspurs Daniel Sowatay protesting against a red card which he was given after fouling Milos Stojanovic (Xewkija Tigers). We love this photo because it shows a mixture of emotion, from pain to rebellion and angriness.
