Munxar Falcons as expected obtained a comfortable win over Qala Saints who are currently occupying the last place on the table.  Munxar opened the score during the first part of the match, administered their lead with authority throughout the rest of the encounter and made sure of the three points with two goals that arrived during the final stages.  Qala seemed too weak in attack and therefore Munxar’s win was never in contention.  With this result Munxar are four points clear from their challengers for promotion Sannat Lions, the latter however have a game in hand.

Munxar showed their intentions to score an early goal from the very beginning and in the third minute of play a good shot by Paul Said was turned to a corner by Qala’s keeper Jonathan Curmi.  Munxar opened the score on 13 minutes when Qala’s rear guard failed to clear the ball away from the area following a prolonged action and the ball fell to an unmarked Samuel Muscat who placed in goal with a low shot.  Munxar reduced their pressure and for most of the time during the first period play took place in the midfield.  Munxar’s best scoring opportunity of the first half, after scoring, arrived on 36 min tes through a shot by Jordi Parnis that ended on the side of the net.

After the resumption Qala tried be more offensive in an attempt to level the score but on 55 minutes a shot by Modibo Niakate missed the target.  In another occasion one minute later the same Niakate have concluded better but his low shot ended wide.  Munxat however continued to hold command of the match and on 72 minutes they doubled the score when Paul Said exchanged the ball at the edge of the area with Samuel Muscat and as the goalkeeper left his position the former netted with a low shot.  The match lost much of the interest as Qala’s reaction continued to be sterile.  Munxar seled the victory with the third goal that arrived on 82 minutes WHEN Michael Matthias Uzor entered Qala’s territory with a personal action, lobbed the ball towards an open goal but Qala’s central defender Michael Pace recovered his position but committed an own goal in an attempt to clear the ball from the fatal line.
