SUMMARY

Ghajnsielem confirmed their good moment of form at the beginning of the new football season and obtained their second win from two matches of the championship by defeating Kercem Ajax with the odd goal from three.  In this match, Ghajnsielem made some changes in the starting line-up from their previous match, mainly by replacing player-coach Daniel Bogdanovic by Sebastien Eduardo Martinez Turizo. The Blacks scored an early goal but they failed to capitalise from their lead and suffered Kercem’s reaction for the following eighty minutes.  Kercem, however, did not manage to level the score and during the final stages of the encounter they also ended up conceding more space at their defensive department. Ghajnsielem practically made sure of the win with a second goal that arrived seven minutes from the end of regular time and during the remaining minutes they could have easily added more goals.  Kercem’s efforts were only rewarded with a goal that arrived seconds from the final whistle when there was no time left to save the result. With this result, the Blacks are on maximum points from two matches, while Kercem remain without a point.
