Oratory Youths and Munxar Falcons earned a point each following a 1–1 draw, a result that saw Oratory pick up their first point of the season, while Munxar recorded their second draw in three matches.
The match proved to be a tightly contested encounter, as both sides were eager to collect maximum points to climb away from the lower part of the standings and to make up for their disappointing results so far in the league. Despite their efforts, both teams showed limitations in attack, struggling to convert possession into clear scoring opportunities. The two goals that decided the outcome arrived in the second half, with either side having a chance to win the game in the closing stages.

First Half:
Munxar began the match more adventurously, but Oratory defended well and gradually began to push forward, making the game more balanced and interesting.
10’ Munxar missed a good opportunity when a cross from the left by Ayesller Carvalho found David Bajada, who failed to connect properly with his header from a good position, sending the ball wide.
20’ Oratory created a good chance when Aroldinho broke into the area, but his low shot towards the far post went just wide.
30’ Another chance for Oratory saw a cross-shot by Aroldinho miss the target.
42’ Oratory remained threatening with a long-range shot from Sean Attard, but the effort went wide.

Second Half:
After the restart, Oratory took greater control of possession but struggled to find the finishing touch. They finally broke the deadlock through a penalty midway through the half, but Munxar equalised later and managed to defend the result despite being reduced to ten men.
56’ Oratory could have created more danger from a corner, but Omar Calleja’s shot went over the bar.
59’ Munxar goalkeeper Gabriel Saliba made two fine saves to deny Aroldinho, who tried his luck with successive shots.
64’ (1–0) Penalty — Oratory were awarded a penalty after Neil Said was fouled by Emmanuel Galea inside the box. Aroldinho stepped up and converted confidently, sending the ball into the net despite the goalkeeper’s attempt to block.
74’ (1–1) Munxar equalised when, from a free kick taken by Eman Bugeja, Ayesller Carvalho broke through the defence and fired in from close range.
78’ Munxar could have done better moments later, but Ayesller Carvalho failed to make contact with a good cross from the left.
80’ (Red Card) Munxar were reduced to ten men when Eman Bugeja was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for dissent.
