As expected, holders Nadur Youngsters cruised into the semi-finals of the BOV GFA Cup with a commanding 7–0 victory over Second Division side Zebbug Rovers. Nadur controlled the match for long stretches, scoring four goals in the first half before introducing several young players after the break, while still managing to add another three goals.
Zebbug had a decent spell in the early stages as they reacted well after conceding the opening goal, but they appeared demoralised once they went two goals down. Their best chance to score a consolation came from a penalty, which they ultimately failed to convert.

Timeline
First Half
Nadur went immediately on the attack and took an early lead, though Zebbug briefly managed to settle and give the impression they could keep up with their opponents. However, once Nadur doubled their advantage midway through the first half, they took complete control of the game.
1’ Nadur almost scored with their first attempt when Pedrinho’s shot went narrowly wide.
8’ (0–1) Nadur took the lead through Murilo Scarpari, who kept possession under pressure and surprised the goalkeeper with a low shot from a tight angle.
12’ Nadur were unlucky not to add another when Brandon Said’s close-range effort hit the post.
25’ (0–2) Pedrinho doubled the score for Nadur with a precise free kick that caught the goalkeeper off guard.
32’ (0–3) Nadur extended their lead with an own goal by Zebbug defender Marcus Vella, who misjudged a header following a shot by Pedrinho, sending the ball into his own net.
40’ (0–4) Diego Rodriguez made it four after his first attempt was partially saved by the goalkeeper — the Colombian forward quickly regained possession and finished into an open goal.
43’ Zebbug goalkeeper Francesco Portelli denied Pedrinho from close range after a fine solo run past the defence.

Second Half
Nadur resumed where they had left off, continuing to dominate and create danger around Zebbug’s goal, eventually wrapping up a comfortable win.
48’ Nadur missed a good chance when Brandon Said headed over from close range following a Pedrinho free kick.
57’ (0–5) The fifth goal came after another excellent run by Pedrinho, who provided the assist for Diego Rodriguez to tap in.
61’ Rodriguez could have added another but mishit his effort from a good position after a cross by Owen Peter Bugeja.
64’ (0–6) Diego Rodriguez completed his hat-trick, finishing confidently from inside the area.
74’ (0–7) Nadur scored their seventh when Zebbug failed to clear properly, allowing substitute Luka Haber to drill a low shot past the goalkeeper.
79’ (penalty missed – saved) Zebbug had a chance for a consolation goal from the penalty spot after a foul on Gonçalves Barbosa, but Nadur goalkeeper Zac Vella saved Barbosa’s effort. Substitute Cleavon Zammit then fired the rebound wide.
