The most anticipated match from Match Day- 11 of the Second Division championship saw Sannat Lions claim a dramatic 2-1 victory over Zebbug Rovers, allowing them to join St Lawrence at the top of the standings thanks to the three points earned.
In this game, both teams had several scoring opportunities and the win could have gone either way. Sannat scored early, but Zebbug continued to share possession and managed to equalize in the second half. Just when it seemed the match would end in a draw, Sannat scored the decisive goal in the third minute of added time, securing a win that could prove crucial in the promotion race.
